Flaneur
The idea to wander without reason and to see without thinking. I was introduced to this idea while studying abroad at Bauhaus University in Germany. The imagery produced was concurrently a reaction to being in a foreign land and my attempt to capture experiences that would soon be gone. Presenting these moments in time, allowing viewers to pause and take part in my journey is crucial to the process and reflective of my time abroad. Focusing on the minute details allows for a subtle yet equally appreciative perspective of each place I experienced.
